Written by Roberto

In Q1 2011, Facebook overtook Google as the most popular social network ID used to sign in to websites to share content. Facebook was the top social network ID used to sign in to websites to share content, with 35%.

In Q4 2010, Facebook stood at 27%, while Google was at 38%. While Twitter only accounts for 7% of social sign-ins on websites, it is used to share 32% of content that users distribute via a social network. This difference is important to note as most consumers are not yet comfortable using Twitter as their main social login, but they do find it useful for content sharing.  More…

Apple released a brand new set of MacBook Pros, and along with them has come something called a Thunderbolt. It’s a relatively brand new technology, developed by Intel under codename “Light Peak” and promises to be the new name in data transfer between devices. How fast is it? 12 times faster than FireWire 800, 20 times faster than USB 2.0. More at Slashgear..

Increasing The Profits For Businesses?
Now There’s An App For That

Apr06

Written by Roberto

The economic crash has business owners worldwide scrambling to identify ways to find new customers and to market their businesses economically. Now, Dexx Williams, successful entrepreneur and owner of Unique Profit Systems, has come up with an app for that – for only $2.99.

The business app was created to help users market their business, as well as identify new opportunities to reach out to their customers, without having to sink thousands of dollars into advertising – which frequently isn’t effective anyway, notes Williams.

“This application is designed to give the user, typically a business management or marketing team, the secret unfair advantage they desire over their competitors by generating more sales without having to invest more money in advertising,” Williams explained.  Article

Written by Roberto

Spammers are using Facebook Events to trick users into completing online surveys, taking part in online contests and perform other tasks which allow spammers to generate commissions. In some cases, users are also tricked into giving up their mobile phone number, which is then automatically signed up for expensive premium services.
According to multiple security firms, spammers using Facebook Events to promote their links have been highly successful in their efforts to dupe unsuspecting users thus far.

The Art of the Blog

The personal blog, an ongoing diary or commentary by an individual, is the traditional, most common blog. Personal bloggers usually take pride in their blog posts, even if their blog is never read. Blogs often become more than a way to just communicate; they become a way to reflect on life, or works of art.

Few personal blogs rise to fame and the mainstream, but some personal blogs quickly garner an extensive following. One type of personal blog, referred to as a microblog, is extremely detailed and seeks to capture a moment in time.
